Can you smell that? It's the scent of LOST on the horizon! Check out this new extended trailer/music video by the Fray:
Now, everyone (including myself) has been wondering how season 5 is going to work (flashbacks, flashforwards, etc.), and the producers confirmed this summer at comic con that they're going to try and not use the words flashback and flashforward this year. But what do they mean by that? If they weren't gonna do them at all, they would've said that; but they said they just weren't going to use those words.
And then it hit me.
What if the island went back in time? Not 100 years, but 100 days. What if Locke, Sawyer, Juliet, and all of the other people still on the island went back to when the plane first crashed, and they got to witness (second-hand) everything that happened to them in the first 3 seasons? What if the infamous whispers are actually themselves (but from the "future")?
By watching that trailer, you'll notice a few things: Juliet (or Charlotte) wiping away dirt from a hatch buried in the ground, Locke finding one of those heroin Mary statues, Faraday having a gun pointed at him by someone in a hazmat suit. Could that be Desmond from his hatch days? Or what about Kelvin (Desmond's original hatchmate)? I realize that he died on the same day Flight 815 crashed on the island, but what if they had gone back in time 120 days?
And maybe the island continues to move back in time, allowing us to see (first-hand) Rousseau's backstory, which we were also promised in Season 5.
I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!
